Sad but true!
My good friend Jesse just sent me this cartoon which I thought was so hilarious because of how true it is. When I finished laughing, however, it really hit close to home becaue I am almost ashamed to be part of a country that is like this...I don't even want to think about how the rest of the world views us....

lol, that is so true.
i share your sentiments exactly. the first time i realized it was when i was in Ukraine for the 4th of July. talk about a useless holiday over there. but of course, my pastor (and other uber-patriots on the trip) decided we must throw a parade and show Ukraine how great America is. Ech... makes me sick...
